What is Google Forms?

Google Forms is a part of Google Workspace. Google Forms is a free online tool from Google that allows users to create forms, surveys, and quizzes and to collaboratively edit and share the forms with others. Most professionals use Google Forms to receive feedback from customers or employers. Students and Educators use forms to create quizzes, surveys, or forms for special events.

This tool is free for individuals with Google accounts or anyone wanting to use it for personal use. However, there is a plan for business customers for $12 per month for a 1-year commitment and a business plus plan for $18 monthly for a 1-year commitment. Overall, Google Forms is a free program.

To start using Google Forms:

  • Go to https://www.google.com/forms.
  • (for Google users). Click on the 9 dots shaped like a square in the right-hand corner.
  • Scroll down to Forms and click.
  • Search or choose a template.
  • If you don't have a Google account, go to https://www.google.com
  • Click Create Account.
  • Follow and answer the information it requires.
  • Once completed, exit, then log in with the login you created.
  • Now, in the right-hand corner of the Google page, click the 9 dot square.
  • Scroll down to Forms.
  • Search and/or select a template.

Google Forms may be time-consuming, but it'll be perfect if you prep before a deadline. I highly recommend it to students who must create project surveys because it's free! It allows for individuals to be creative. If Google Forms is being used for personal use, the individual can be creative to create party invitations, RSVP for special events, and fill out forms for selling products. Google Forms is an easy way to prepare forms, surveys, and quizzes. There is also a help option that can answer any further questions.
